Consumer Duty Annual Board Report: are you ready?

This webinar took place on the 11th April 2024

This webinar was hosted in conjunction with:

Your board has until the 31st of July 2024 to sign off on their first annual Consumer Duty report – but this is not a one-off internal ‘box ticking’ formality you can pay lip service to.

The FCA has reminded firms that “this isn’t an attestation but a really important part of your internal governance that will take time to do well – so don’t delay!” In the coming months, the FCA will turn up the heat by reviewing, on request, a sample of firms’ board reports, looking at the data it includes, how it evidences customer outcomes, how effectively the board has scrutinised the firm’s performance and what actions are planned to address any gaps.

In this must-attend, free, 60-minute webinar, our panel of experts share their insights on the necessary steps your firm must take to compile their first report.

Key discussion points include how to:

  • Prepare and produce the content of your firm’s annual report by 31 July 2024.
  • Identify and capture the MI and data that will make or break your report.
  • Align your board report with FCA expectations.
  • Test whether your report will meet the board’s needs.
  • Check and challenge your report’s objectivity against good industry practice.
